As Shared Services Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and resident billing. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring financial accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement across transactional finance.
Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will drive process optimisation, lead finance transformation initiatives, and provide trusted insights to support decision-making. You’ll also take a hands-on role in implementing new finance systems, improving vendor management, and embedding strong financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team across AP, AR, and treasury functions.
- Ensure accurate billing, settlements, and revenue recognition.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, reconciliations, and treasury reporting.
- Drive finance transformation projects including ERP optimisation, automation, and process redesign.
- Partner with procurement on vendor management and contract compliance.
- Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and deliver service excellence.
- Support internal and external audits with robust financial control frameworks.
You are a commercially astute finance professional who thrives in dynamic environments. With strong leadership skills and a collaborative approach, you bring both technical expertise and the ability to engage stakeholders across the business.
Qualifications & Experience
- CPA or CA qualified.
- 5+ years’ experience in senior finance roles, ideally within shared services.
- Proven success in process improvement, change management, and finance systems optimisation (TechnologyOne desirable).
- Strong knowledge of financial controls, compliance, and reporting.
- Advanced Excel and BI reporting tool proficiency.
- Experience in property, retirement living, or healthcare sectors advantageous.
