The Role
Reporting into the CFO, the role includes:
-completion and ownership of all direct and indirect taxes including income tax, GST, FBT, stamp duty and land tax
-oversight and management of the trust distribution review process to investors including the preparation of fund statements and annual tax returns
-advising the Board and Executive team in relation to any tax law or policy change that may impact the business
-manage tax due diligence and structuring in relation to M&A transactions
-assist with responses to regulatory inquiries and submissions
-proactively manage tax risks
-work with external tax advisors
The Person
-You will be CA/CPA qualified or equivalent tax qualification
-10 + years or tax experience
-some property development industry experience
-strong communication and interpersonal skills
