A high-performing construction project management and advisory consultancy is seeking an experienced Retail Project Manager to take ownership of a major national retail client and help grow a rapidly expanding retail portfolio.
This business is building one of the strongest pipelines in the market, recently securing landmark precinct and institutional projects across Victoria. With trophy developments, complex refurbishments, and major master-planned precincts on the horizon, this is a chance to step into a role with real autonomy, influence, and long-term upside.
The Opportunity
You’ll be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of retail projects, while acting as a trusted advisor to a major client. The role suits a Senior PM who enjoys client-facing responsibility and wants to work within a consultancy that genuinely backs its people.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing retail projects from early planning through to delivery
- Acting as the day-to-day lead for a major retail client
- Coordinating consultants, builders, and stakeholders
- Advising clients on cost, program, risk, and delivery strategy
- 8+ years’ experience as a Project Manager (or strong PM ready to step up)
- Solid retail project experience (fit-out / refurb / capex preferred)
- Background from a contractor, builder, or consultancy environment
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing client relationships
- Commercial, organised, and confident operating in live environments
- Work on high-quality, complex projects with impressive client base
