Our client is a high profile ASX listed Property Group that manage, develop and invest in high quality Australian assets through a variety of listed and unlisted funds. They own and manage a diversified portfolio spanning across Office, Retail and Industrial, and are widely considered as employers of choice.

The Role
   
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for the financial, tax and management reporting for for a portfolio of Real Estate Funds, including the Group’s flagship Office Fund. The role has a strong focus on managing and developing a high performing team and partnering with the Fund Analyst/Fund Management teams.

Key Responsibilities  
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 
  • Lead the preparation and review of statutory financial statements for the flagship wholesale Office Fund.
  • Drive management reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and fund unit pricing, delivering insights that matter
  • Prepare and review Board and Audit & Risk Committee (ARCC) reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Partner with the business on major property and trust acquisitions and disposals.
  • Prepare and review investor reporting and respond to regular ad hoc requests.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor on accounting and taxation matters.
  • Supervise, develop, and mentor junior team members, supporting succession and retention.  
The Successful Candidate
To be successful in the role, you’ll have the following skills/experience:
  • CA/CPA qualification
  • Property (ideally) fund accounting, forecasting, budgeting and taxation experience.
  • Knowledge of complex legal entity structures
  • Strong understanding of Australian Tax & Accounting standards
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
