They own and manage a diversified portfolio spanning Office, Retail, Industrial and Social Infrastructure assets and are widely regarded as an employer of choice within the property and funds management sector.
The Role
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for the financial, tax and management reporting for a portfolio of ASX listed and Wholesale real estate funds, including the Group’s flagship listed Diversified Fund.
The role has a strong focus on leading and developing a high-performing team, while partnering closely with Fund Analysts and Fund Management to deliver high-quality reporting, technical advice and commercial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of statutory financial statements for a portfolio of listed and wholesale Real Estate Funds
- Drive management reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and fund unit pricing, delivering clear financial insights.
- Prepare and review Board and Audit & Risk Committee (ARCC) reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, overseeing the timely delivery of audits, tax returns and investor distributions.
- Partner with the business on major property and trust acquisitions and disposals.
- Oversee investor reporting and respond to regular ad hoc stakeholder requests.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor on accounting and taxation matters.
- CA / CPA qualification.
- Experience in property or funds management accounting, including financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and taxation.
- Exposure to complex legal entity structures and trust structures.
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting and tax standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
- Proven ability to lead and develop team members
