They are based in South Yarra and operate 5 days a week in the office due to the need for constant internal collaboration. Their culture is something they hold as the key to their success and are genuine and professional.
The role:
Due to their continued acquisitions we are looking for one to two hires to boulster the development team consisting of the GM x2 DM’s and an SDM. We are open to an SDM or a DM, someone who has the knowledge base and can run projects and someone, most importantly who fits with the culture.
Cioe aspects of the role:
- Acquisitions team obtain the site (freehold) and secure a tenant in many instances
- You would support the aqusitions team where required with knowledge base to support this
- Working with the tenant and inhouse design team to work through the design
- Work through town planning with the support of the inhouse dedicated planning manager (who will manage the process from the point of lodgement)
- Work closely with the inhouse PM team who will then go to tender
- As the DM you will manage the feasibility through this process, staying in touch with the PM’s through to handover but keeping engagement with the tenant through this period where required.
The person
Skills:
- This portfolio is mixed, but the scale of these new builds will mean you will be managing c 5-8 projects at any one time so we are looking for someone with transferrable project experience such as; retail/retailer, commercial, industrial, childcare.
- Its important you have knowledge and experience managing a tenant though your core role will be managing the development process post acquisition and tenant, you enjhoy the pace of working across multiple projects.
- Being very organised and having full life cycle experience
