Growth orientated with a highly regarded executive leadership team in place, they continue to build on their position of strength through large scale CAPEX Investment & Construction Projects, and an aggressive acquisition strategy.
The Role
The purpose of the role is to sit within the Projects Delivery business unit and provide quality financial reporting, analysis and actionable insights for assigned Business Units and Project Directors for a large portfolio of infrastructure construction projects. The primary focus of the role will be Opex related but there will be exposure to the capital program.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of annual bottom’s up Opex budget, challenging assumptions where necessary.
- Preparation of monthly financial and management reports.
- Preparations of monthly forecast, performance dashboards, variance analysis and actionable insights.
- Assist BU with effective cost management and controls.
- Provide ad-hoc commercial and operational analysis.
- Review financials with a view to validate, challenge and improve.
- Identify and execute process improvement opportunities across finance planning, analytics and reporting.
The Successful Applicant .
- CA/CPA qualification
- Extensive management reporting and financial planning experience
- Experience in providing financial analysis to support decision making.
- Advanced Excel, systems and process improvement skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exposure to CAPEX intensive industries will be highly regarded
