Capstone are partnering with a well-known, household-name as they hire for a Project Manager within their Project Management Office. This role will be essential for the delivery of projects, and for the wider organisational uplift of project delivery maturity, interacting with Business, IT, Operations and Leadership teams. 

About the Role
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle for a combination of business and IT projects, holding the accountability for project scope, milestones, budgets, risk, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project governance frameworks, schedules, resource planning, and templates/artefacts. All of this will ensure your projects are delivered within the PMO-approved framework while uplifting delivery maturity.
  • Create and deliver project communication plans for all levels of the organisation and reporting for SteerCo and ExCo meetings, keeping leadership aware of project health, issues, and tracking against the plan.
  • Manage cross-functional delivery teams and collaborate with other project managers to ensure projects are sustainably delivered as part of the wider portfolio.
  • Stay across project forecasts, recommend process/system improvements, and provide input to the wider project delivery maturity uplift.

About You
  • Demonstrated end-to-end project management experience across a combination of business & IT projects, with exposure to both traditional and Agile methodologies. Scrum/Agile certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Hands-on use of project tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project/Teams, SharePoint, and system integration technologies e.g. APIs and SOAP services.
  • Commercial acumen required to conduct feasibility analysis, prepare business cases, manage project financial planning, and oversee tender processes.
  • You must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence outcomes across technical & non-technical teams.
  • Proven dynamic approach to change circumstances and shifting priorities.
