As the business continues to grow, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join the team and take ownership of the delivery of projects from planning through to practical completion.
This is a hands-on, on-site role suited to a Project Manager who enjoys being close to the action and thrives on solving problems as they arise.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage the day-to-day delivery of projects on-site, working closely with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing on-site construction activities and coordinating trades and subcontractors
- Monitoring project programs, budgets, and quality standards
- Liaising with consultants, engineers, and authorities to resolve design and construction issues
- Conducting regular site inspections and progress meetings
- Managing procurement, variations, and contract administration
- Ensuring compliance with work health and safety requirements
- Reporting on project progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders
About You
You will be a mid-level Project Manager with genuine on-site experience and a background in construction or engineering. To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- A qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience managing projects on-site in a construction or property environment
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, programming, and contract administration
- The ability to build effective relationships with contractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and sound judgement under pressure
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to safety and quality
