An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Project Manager looking to step into a Project Director pathway within a rapidly growing national business.

This role will initially take ownership of major industrial projects while working closely with executive leadership to help shape and grow the broader project delivery function nationally.

The successful candidate will oversee the design and construction delivery of large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects across Tasmania, South Australia, Melbourne, and Sydney, with immediate project priorities located in Tasmania and South Australia.

This position offers a genuine long-term pathway into a Project Director role as the national pipeline continues to expand.

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of major industrial and infrastructure projects
• Manage projects from design development through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover
• Oversee project performance across programme, budget, safety, quality, procurement, and risk management
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal delivery teams
• Lead site-based delivery teams including Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and Supervisors
• Work closely with executive leadership on project strategy, delivery planning, and operational improvements
• Support the implementation of innovative construction methodologies and accelerated delivery programmes
• Contribute to the growth and development of the national project delivery capability
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on communication, accountability, and outcomes

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering large-scale industrial, logistics, warehouse, infrastructure, or major construction projects
• Strong experience managing complex new-build projects with significant civil, structural steel, precast, and services packages
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across fast-paced project environments
• Strong commercial, contractual, and programme management capability
• Natural leadership skills with the ambition to progress into a broader Project Director role
• Experience working for developers, client-side PM firms, or major contractors will be highly regarded
• Data centre experience is not essential
