The Opportunity
This is a rare leadership opportunity for a seasoned infrastructure professional to make a tangible difference across the Tablelands. As Manager Road Services, you will lead the planning, design, and delivery of road and drainage capital works and maintenance programs — work that directly connects people, businesses, and communities.
As a key member of the Infrastructure and Environment Leadership Team, you will contribute to the Corporate Plan 2025–30, maintaining and improving road networks, reducing renewal backlogs, and playing a pivotal role in sourcing new funding to address the infrastructure gap.
You will lead a multi-disciplinary Road Services team across capital works and maintenance programs, driving project management excellence to deliver outcomes on time, on budget, and to agreed standards.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring proven senior leadership in a complex civil infrastructure environment, with expertise in road service delivery, project management, and maintenance. Strong financial acumen, outstanding communication skills, and effective stakeholder engagement are essential.
As a leader, you are a proponent of a constructive workplace culture with a strong focus on the customer experience.
A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally seven or more years at senior management level in local government, a current driver's licence, and willingness to complete pre-employment screening are expected.
