Facilities Coordinator (9 month contract)
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Facilities Coordinato r to support the day-to-day management of a growing national property portfolio. This role is ideal for a practical problem-solver who enjoys coordinating multiple priorities and working with a broad range of stakeholders.

About the Role
Reporting to the National Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating building and maintenance activities across multiple sites, ensuring compliance, safety, and operational efficiency. You will act as the first point of contact for facilities enquiries and work closely with contractors, landlords, and internal teams to deliver responsive and high-quality support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate reactive and scheduled maintenance across all sites
  • Maintain knowledge of core building systems including HVAC, fire, electrical, plumbing, security, and access control
  • Engage and manage external contractors, ensuring work is completed to required standards
  • Oversee compliance testing and maintain accurate facilities documentation
  • Liaise with landlords in accordance with lease obligations
  • Support insurance claims and coordinate repairs or replacements
  • Verify facilities invoices and ensure adherence to purchasing processes
  • Conduct safety and essential services audits
  • Contribute to new site start-ups and acquisitions as required
About You
To be successful in this role you will bring:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a facilities or property coordination role
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance and compliance requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Confident communication skills and a customer-focused approach
  • Experience working with contractors and service providers
  • Sound understanding of OH&S obligations
  • Willingness to travel locally and interstate when required
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
