About The Role
Reporting to the Executive General Manager City Planning & Corporate Services, the Executive Manager People and Performance is responsible for leading crucial portfolio areas within Council, including learning and development, organisational development, HR management, employment services, cultural change, workforce planning, payroll and workers compensation
As a key advisory function within the organisation, you will work collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer, Executive General Manager City Planning and Corporate Services, Executive Managers, Managers, Coordinators and staff in ensuring compliance with organisational direction and culture, and the execution of Council’s functions in respect of People & Performance.
About You
You will be an innovative, visionary and strategic leader, with significant experience in delivering large scale organisational change, and fostering excellence within complex environments.
As a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, you will provide strategic guidance to senior leaders across all facets of human resources, award interpretation, policy development, workforce strategy, and complex projects.
Your leadership style is people centric and performance driven – with a commitment to cultivating high-performing teams and delivering quality outcomes that align with organisational goals.
To succeed in this role, you will hold relevant qualifications and/or extensive job related experience, with widespread knowledge of workers compensation, IR/ER and best practice HR trends.
