Our client is a leading national provider in the highly regulated home care and human services sector. Operating within a complex federated, they are at a pivotal point of maturity. We are seeking a high-caliber technology leader to step into the role of Executive General Manager – Technology Transformation.
This isn't a "sit-back-and-steer" CIO role. We need a visionary who can architect a long-term digital roadmap while remaining pragmatic enough to "roll up their sleeves" and navigate the day-to-day technical landscape. You will be the bridge between high-level strategy and operational excellence, ensuring technology is a catalyst for care quality and sustainable growth.
Your primary mission is to define and deliver a cohesive technology strategy that balances core system standardisation with the local flexibility required by a national franchise network.
Key areas of focus include:- Landscape & Tech Debt: Conduct a deep-dive assessment of the current technology estate to identify inefficiencies and remediate legacy "tech debt."
- Project Maturity: Establish a disciplined PMO/governance framework, moving the business from ad-hoc fixes to structured, benefits-realisation-led delivery.
- Stakeholder Diplomacy: Act as the primary interface between the franchisor, individual franchisees, and external vendors influencing without direct authority to drive network-wide adoption.
- Vendor Strategy: Full ownership of the vendor ecosystem (CRM, Payroll, etc.), ensuring partners are performing, integrated, and aligned with the business roadmap.
- Team Leadership: Mentoring and developing a lean, high-performing ICT team focused on service excellence and business continuity.
You are a rare breed of leader: a thought leader who can command a boardroom, and a practitioner who understands the mechanics of systems implementation.
To be successful, you will bring:- Proven Leadership in Federated Environments: You understand the nuances of a multi-site model where "buy-in" is earned, not mandated.
- Transformation Pedigree: A track record of taking a business through a "maturing" phase improving data integrity, cybersecurity, and operational reporting.
- Commercial Acumen: You are "outcome-obsessed." You don’t implement tech for tech’s sake; you do it to improve workforce utilization and client care outcomes.
- Exceptional Engagement: The ability to translate complex technical concepts into "business speak" for franchisees and executive peers.
- Resilience & Agility: Comfortable operating in a regulated, people-centric environment where empathy is just as important as technical logic.
