The Opportunity
As Development Manager, you will take ownership of projects end to end but with a strong focus on delivery initially, driving outcomes that align with SLA’s vision for quality, community, and long-term value creation. You’ll work across a diverse portfolio spanning residential, mixed-use, and build-to-rent projects, playing a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of Sydney’s urban communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead consultant teams to achieve design excellence while ensuring commercial and planning objectives are met.
  • Oversee feasibility analysis, budgets, and cashflows to ensure projects meet financial targets.
  • Coordinate DA, CC, and other authority approvals in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review design and plans, provide feedback on plans to the external consultants
  • Coordinating design, tendering for and managing contractors, providing technical direction and ensuring projects are delivered within pre-determined limits of time, cost and quality
About You
  • 6+ years’ experience in property development, ideally across residential or mixed-use projects.
  • Proven ability to lead projects from planning through to completion.
  • Experience delivering complex, large scale projects.
  • Excellent understanding of the NSW planning framework and approval processes
