A leading property advisory and management group in the South East is seeking an experienced Associate Director to oversee a premium-grade commercial and industrial portfolio on behalf of sophisticated and institutional landlords, including major private investors, corporates and large-scale asset owners.

This role is ideal for a senior property professional who thrives in a high-performance environment and is ready to step into a broader leadership remit. You will act as second-in-command to the Head of Department, supporting team leadership, operational oversight and strategic portfolio management.

 

You will manage a diverse commercial/industrial portfolio, leading leasing negotiations, property operations, stakeholder communication and compliance. You’ll oversee lease administration, make-good negotiations, rent reviews, statutory notices, inspections and minor capital works. You will be supported an experienced finance team, Assistant Property Manager and Facilities Manager. 

As 2IC, you will support the Head of Department in overseeing the wider Property Management team, including delegation of work, quality control, mentoring junior and assistant property managers, and stepping in to lead internal meetings or escalated matters when required.
 

You are an experienced senior property manager or emerging leader ready for the next step. You bring:

• Strong experience in commercial & industrial property management.

• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to independently manage a complex portfolio.

• Experience mentoring team members or acting in a leadership capacity.

• Estate Agent’s Rep or License (required)
