The company currently has 12 live projects underway, having recently secured two further major wins, and continues to grow off the back of strong repeat and referral business.About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Manager to run the day to day delivery of a $20 million school project in Melbourne's western suburbs. You'll take full responsibility for site safety, quality, programme and workforce management, working closely with the Project Manager and Contract Administrator to deliver the project on time and to a high standard.Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on site activities including trade coordination, sequencing and programme adherence
- Oversee and support site labourers, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met
- Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSEQ policies and procedures
- Conduct regular site inspections and manage quality control across all trades
- Liaise with the Project Manager, Contract Administrator and design team to resolve site issues
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation using company systems and site based technology
About You
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the commercial construction sector
- Experience delivering projects of a similar scale ($15 million plus) highly regarded
- Background in education, aged care or institutional projects a strong advantage
- Computer literate and confident using an iPad and construction management software on site
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a site team
- Willingness to work some Saturdays as required to support programme delivery
