Salary $150,000 to $200,000 inclusive of super, depending on experience level.

Type of Person & Relevant Experience Ideal (perfect world) candidate would be the following:
  • Would have about 12 to 15 years of experience;
  • Would land in the ~$170,000 inclusive of super salary range;
  • Has worked for an engineering consultant for the vast majority of their career in Australia ;
  • Must have Industrial (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy) experience, okay if this is combined with Minerals Processing and Water and Waste Water experience.
  • About 90% design and 10% project engineering (the latter could be office or site based), or depending on their experience level it may be 100% design experience. Anything less than 80% will probably rule them out;
  • Is technically smart but also normal and capable of presenting and communicating well [understand difficult to find for this role);
  • Must be open to coming into a small but high quality structural team;
  • Must be open to the work we currently do, noting that we are clearly open to developing the structural side of our business and with it the type of structural work we do.
  • Must be highly capable from a design perspective and be familiar in the use of Tedds and Spacegass.
  • Experience in condition inspections would be beneficial.
