• Oversee detailed mechanical design, including pipe stress analysis, pressure vessels, tanks, and piping systems
• Validate designs through calculations to meet Australian and International Standards
• Produce and review technical reports, specifications, and IFC-level drawings
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Support projects from concept through to construction and commissioning What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and RPEQ registration (essential)
• 8+ years’ experience in mechanical design, ideally in Oil & Gas or process industries
• Strong grasp of engineering first principles and practical construction knowledge
• Proficiency in software such as Autopipe, Caesar II, FE Pipe, ANSYS or Strand7
• Familiarity with relevant codes: API 650, AS1210, ASME VIII, AS4041, ASME B31.3
• Excellent communication skills and ability to lead small teams Your Attributes
