Role Overview
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this newly created Senior Accountant role supports financial reporting and operational finance across group entities, real estate funds, development projects, and joint venture structures.
This is a broad, hands-on role offering strong exposure to property development and funds management within a high-performing and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts , including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting packs.
- Support financial reporting across fund, development, and operating entities.
- Assist with investor reporting , including unit pricing and capital call/distribution calculations.
- Monitor cashflow, budgeting, and treasury activities , including debt and interest calculations.
- Coordinate audit requirements , including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
- Drive process improvements across finance systems, reporting, and controls.
- CA/CPA qualified.
- Experience in property, funds management, real estate, or investment structures preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS / AASB financial reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel with the ability to analyse and model financial data.
- Experience with ERP or property accounting systems (Yardi or similar advantageous).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
