The Role
Client-side Project Management doesn’t get more diverse than this. South Bank Corporation offers a broad portfolio of assets including:
- Commercial assets including commercial buildings, exhibition and convention centre, and car park facilities;
- Road networks and associated infrastructure;
- Utilities infrastructure;
- Retail properties;
- Parklands including assets of significant heritage and cultural value;
- Precinct operational and equipment assets.
A key focus of the role will be on building services upgrades and renewals, as well as built-form refurbishment and renewal projects. The role will manage approval processes and undertake planning and investigation of projects; liaising and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project deliverables and outcomes are achieved.
You
The successful candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent in project management or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years project management experience, preferably within building services and built-form delivery.
- Demonstrated commercial/financial acumen.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of contracts and contract management.
- Experience and understanding of the property industry including planning, design and construction.
- Strong ability to drive and motivate consultants and contractors to achieve quality and project milestones.
- Well-developed computer skills and literacy, with sound skills in MS office, including MS Project.
