We are a boutique infrastructure advisory firm working at the commercial heart of New Zealand’s most significant infrastructure investments. As our project pipeline grows, we’re looking for an Infrastructure Advisor to join our Auckland team, supporting major transport, water, aviation, and utilities clients on complex, high-value projects.
This role suits someone with 4–5 years’ experience who wants exposure to meaningful advisory work, close client relationships, and hands-on involvement in large, complex claims — not just a small piece of a big machine.
The Opportunity
You’ll work directly with senior advisors and client leadership teams, providing commercially grounded advice on some of the most challenging issues facing major infrastructure projects.
Your work will include:
-
Advising clients on complex claims and commercial issues arising on major infrastructure projects
-
Supporting the preparation, analysis, and defence of high-value claims, including delay, disruption, variations, and cost recovery
-
Assisting clients through claim negotiation and resolution , including dispute avoidance strategies
-
Applying strong commercial judgement to help clients manage risk, protect value, and make informed decisions
-
Working across sectors including transport, water, aviation, and other critical infrastructure
About You
You’re commercially minded, detail-driven, and comfortable operating in complex project environments.
You’ll bring:
- 4–5 years’ experience in infrastructure advisory, project commercial management, claims consulting, or a related field
-
Proven experience working on large, complex claims within major construction or infrastructure projects
-
A solid understanding of construction contracts and commercial frameworks
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
-
A desire to work in a boutique environment where your contribution is visible and valued
Why Join Us
-
Exposure to high-profile infrastructure projects across New Zealand
-
Meaningful responsibility and client interaction from day one
-
A collaborative, high-calibre team with deep infrastructure expertise
-
The agility and influence that comes with working in a boutique advisory firm
-
Clear development pathways without big-firm bureaucracy
If you’re looking to build a career in infrastructure advisory with a strong commercial and claims focus — and want to do it in a firm where quality, trust, and judgement matter — we’d like to talk.
