This is one of the most significant leadership opportunities currently available in Queensland's industrial and logistics property sector.
We're partnering with a major institutional real estate platform to appoint a General Manager – Queensland to lead and grow an extensive development pipeline while overseeing a high-performing team across Development and Asset Management.
This is far more than a traditional development role. You'll be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Queensland business, identifying new opportunities, strengthening institutional capital relationships, and delivering outstanding commercial outcomes across a substantial portfolio.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the national leadership team, you will:
- Lead one of Queensland's largest industrial and logistics development businesses.
- Drive the growth and execution of a significant development pipeline from acquisition through to completion and stabilisation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, capital partners and key market stakeholders.
- Work closely with Funds Management, Capital Transactions, Leasing and Asset Management teams to maximise portfolio performance.
- Lead, mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary team, creating a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Represent the business across the Queensland market, identifying new opportunities and expanding strategic relationships.
We're looking for an exceptional property executive who combines strong commercial capability with outstanding leadership skills.
You will likely bring:
- Extensive experience leading major industrial, logistics or institutional property development projects.
- A strong track record working within a developer, fund manager or integrated real estate investment platform.
- Experience dealing with institutional capital, investment committees and sophisticated stakeholders.
- Outstanding communication and relationship management skills with the ability to influence at executive and board level.
- Proven ability to build engaged, high-performing teams and bring people together around a common vision.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience across acquisitions, development, investment and portfolio strategy.
- Lead a market-leading Queensland platform with genuine scale.
- Significant existing development pipeline with further growth opportunities.
