The Bradfield Development Authority has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to help build Australia’s newest city from the ground up.
  • Permanent/ongoing full-time role based in Penrith with flexible working arrangements supported
  • Senior Executive Band 2 TRP from $321,355 to $358,774 (inclusive of super), commensurate with experience
As the Executive Director, Asset Development and Delivery, you’ll take on a pivotal leadership role in one of Australia’s most ambitious and transformative projects: the creation of the Bradfield City Centre at the heart of the Western Sydney Aerotropolis into a world-class destination for innovation, industry, and global investment.
  
Bradfield has completed an extended planning and preparation phase and is now entered an exciting delivery phase. The Authority’s ability to deliver its capital programs and work with partners to attract businesses and investment into Bradfield will be crucial to the success of this phase. 
  
This is a purpose-driven role provides high-level strategic leadership and authoritative oversight for the comprehensive planning, delivery, and stewardship of assets and infrastructure throughout Bradfield City Centre. You will shape Bradfield’s evolution into a dynamic and prosperous city, driving the activation and optimisation of precinct assets, and fostering robust collaboration with senior government, industry, and community stakeholders to achieve transformative outcomes and maximise investment opportunities.
  
About the role
In this high-impact role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of a $1.2 billion infrastructure and asset program, such as the Second Building, Central Park, key transport connections, civil works, and enabling infrastructure.
  • Drive strong and coordinated relationships with senior stakeholders across government infrastructure agencies.
  • Champion the activation of key development sites across Bradfield City Centre by removing barriers, enabling infrastructure, and streamlining delivery pathways.
  • Oversee complex land acquisition processes in line with Board and statutory requirements
  • Direct the strategic management and optimisation of the Authority’s asset portfolio.
  • Lead and empower a multi-disciplinary team.
