Our client specialise in design-and-build contracts for end-user clients in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Logistics, Data Centre, and Advanced Manufacturing sectors.
Due to significant growth over the last six months, there is now an immediate requirement for an experienced Junior to Intermediate Estimator to join their team in North Sydney.
This role will see you working alongside an experienced estimating manager, on managing and delivering tenders on large scale data center and industrial projects throughout Australia.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Assist in the tender process from initial appraisal to submission.
- Review and analyze tender documentation across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and Building Services disciplines.
- Prepare analytical cost estimates, budgets, and detailed bills of quantities.
- Complete tender documentation and ensure timely submission.
- Oversee the smooth handover of successful tenders to the delivery team.
- 3+ years’ experience in estimating role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong communication, and client-facing skills.
- Proven ability to assist with large-scale, complex tenders.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as CostX, Cubit, or Buildsoft.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, processes, and bills of quantities
