What You'll Do:
As a Senior Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop competitive bids. Your expertise will influence project planning and ensure our bids reflect both accuracy and strategic value.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in construction or related industries with a proven track record in estimating large-scale projects
- Strong proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to liaise effectively with clients and project teams
- Sound understanding of safety standards and compliance regulations
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with software such as Bluebeam, Planswift, or Primavera
- Knowledge of sustainable or green building practices
- Prior experience in project management or contract negotiation
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry or a similar field
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Relevant certifications such as PEC or CMAA are a plus
