Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end construction of utility-scale solar (hybrid) and wind projects, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
- Collaborate closely with the Construction Director, providing local market expertise and ensuring all activities comply with Australian standards and regulations.
- Lead site and office-based teams, fostering strong communication and coordination between stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, proactively identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental regulations, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety on-site.
- Provide technical oversight and support for the integration of BESS technology into solar and wind projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to projects (140MW + BESS and 200MW + BESS), ensuring construction progress aligns with project milestones.
- Support contract administration, assist with claims management, and contribute to contract negotiations as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, landowners, and community stakeholders, representing our client’s values and commitment to sustainability.

Skills Required
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated experience managing construction of solar (hybrid) and wind projects in Australia, including BESS integration.
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction codes, WHS, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Familiarity with contract administration and claims management.
