About the Role
Reporting to the Deputy CFO, the Business Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the smooth running of the business. This is a varied position that spans workplace management, IT operations, HR support, compliance, ESG initiatives, and project coordination. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to implement improvements, deliver on key projects, and play a central role in the ongoing success and growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee workplace management including office services, vendor relationships, and health & safety compliance
- Manage IT operations, hardware procurement, and act as liaison with outsourced providers
- Drive business continuity planning, compliance registers, and operational reporting
- Support HR operations including onboarding, training scheduling, and development programs
- Assist with governance and compliance registers, reporting, and policy approvals
- Lead projects focused on process improvements, efficiency, and new technology implementation
- Manage budgets and reporting across travel, conferences, procurement, technology, and memberships
- Build strong relationships across the business to deliver outcomes with professionalism and integrity
- Previous experience in operations management, ideally within financial or professional services
- Strong organisational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Adaptability and a proactive mindset to manage change and drive continuous improvement
