Our client is one of south-west Sydney’s fastest-growing local government areas and is undergoing a pivotal transformation. Driven by sustained population growth, urban expansion, and evolving community expectations, the city is experiencing increasing pressure on its transport systems, community facilities, utilities, and civic infrastructure.
To proactively address these challenges and ensure a coordinated, sustainable response to future service demands, Council is commissioning a comprehensive technical study. This Study will inform the development of the Long-Term Infrastructure Plan 2026–2046, providing a strategic framework for infrastructure planning over the next two decades.
A short-term contract opportunity has arisen for an Asset Management Analyst/GIS Specialist to assist with this study.
The focus points of the role are:
- Extract and integrate data from key systems (Conquest, Assetic My Predictor, Technology One, QGIS)
- Provide advanced analytics and reporting (Python, SQL, Power BI, Excel)
- Support spatial analysis and technical documentation
Ideally you will have previous experience in sectors such as government, utilities, transport or telecommunications, particularly around asset management.
The contract will be for a period of 3-4 months and is an immediate start. You will have access to onsite parking.
