Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and implement technical solutions within the Distribution and Transmission sector.
This role involves developing solution architectures, ensuring alignment with technology standards, and providing technical guidance on SAP (S/4HANA, ISU, MPM) and Itron (IEE, UIQ, MTS) implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and document technical solutions for project deliverables.
- Conduct systems impact assessments, covering functional and non-functional aspects.
- Develop and maintain architecture artifacts (solution diagrams, integration designs, decision logs, etc.).
- Ensure alignment with architecture principles, IT security standards, and data compliance.
- Provide technical leadership, collaborating with business analysts, specialists, and stakeholders.
- Own solution design from inception to implementation, ensuring alignment and assurance.
- Present solutions to stakeholders, gathering feedback and refining designs.
- 5+ years in Solution Architecture, with 3+ years in Electricity Distribution/Transmission.
- 2+ years in Australian Energy Utilities.
- Strong expertise in Network Billing, Meter Data Management, Meter Management, and NEM Market Transactions.
- Experience with Itron (IEE, UIQ, MTS) and SAP (S/4HANA, ISU, MPM).
- Proficiency in integration architecture, APIs, and platforms (either WebMethods, or Oracle Fusion).
- Strong documentation skills, including UML and architecture modeling.
- Ability to translate technical information into actionable insights for technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
