About the Role

A unique opportunity exists to join a highly respected, purpose-driven institution playing a vital role in Australia’s social and affordable housing ecosystem. We are seeking a Senior Director of Origination to lead high-value, complex financing transactions nationally with a focus on Vic & Tas. 

In this senior leadership role, you’ll be at the forefront of structuring deals that blend commercial acumen with meaningful community impact. You’ll work closely with state governments, institutional investors, not-for-profit housing providers and private developers to deliver housing outcomes that support both economic and social policy objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead origination and execution of structured finance transactions, focusing on housing and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary deal teams, collaborating closely with legal, risk, treasury, and policy teams.
  • Maintain and grow strong stakeholder relationships, including government entities, financiers, and community partners.
  • Oversee program delivery and strategic reporting for high-profile national funding programs.
  • Act as the primary interface with regional and national decision-makers to align financing structures with market and policy developments.

About You
  • 15+ years of experience in structured finance, investment banking, infrastructure financing, real estate investment or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in cashflow lending, credit assessment, and complex financial modelling.
  • Experience in or strong interest in public-private partnerships, housing, or social infrastructure financing.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, law, or related fields; postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
