Capstone are exclusively partnering with a private developer/builder with a solid track record delivering residential built form projects throughout Victoria. A leader in their field, this role is a newly created one due to an expanding portfolio.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
Working alongside one other SDM and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be part of a substantial inhouse team, working with construction, sales and marketing project accountants/finance and manage a small team.
They currently have a number of projects of varying scale, from luxury scalable homes to smaller subdivisions and larger mixed use communities, consisting of parks and commercial aspects such as childcare assets.
You will manage a portfolio directly and will work with the MD across acquisitions, assessing their viability, driving detailed due diligence on key projects and working with the broader internal and external teams to support these transactions. You will be responsible for taking the reigns on these new projects and seeing them through the development life cycle (planning, sales and marketing, design and construction) through to completion and handover
THE CANDIDATE:
- Solid end to end development experience
- Low density residential experience would be the preferred but we would consider someone with mixed use smaller density exposure
- We would consider a DM with 5 + years experience but preference is for an SDM with extensive experience looking to work in a dynamic business with a very healthy, active pipeline
- Someone who thrives in a fast paced collaborative environment
- Strong budget and feasibility experience with leadership skills to manage a small internal team and multiple external stakeholders
- Exposure to Estate Master would be preferred but not essential
We are looking for an energised SDM, with the ability to manage upwards but also be hands on in complex project with the ability to be strategic and support the continued pipeline.
