Senior Development Manager -
Landmark Developments
You will lead a high performing development team in delivering two concurrent projects from early concept design onwards, ensuring alignment with this highly regarded boutique developer's expectations for financial returns, timelines, quality, and customer service
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex planning processes,
including site-specific rezonings, State Significant Development Applications, and Housing Diversity Agreement (HDA) negotiations, to unlock development potential and deliver strategic project outcomes.
Project Oversight:
Ensure developments are progressing according to timelines. Provide support, engage appropriate stakeholders, negotiate deals, manage contracts, identify risks, and optimise outcomes.
Financial and Strategic Contributions:
Assist with financial forecasting, budget accumulation, and control. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and support valuations and financial analysis for each project.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal consultants and staff across design, planning, finance, marketing, sales, and construction teams.
Reporting:
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting to directors and management.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and manage the Assistant Development Managers and Development Managers, overseeing delegated tasks and providing guidance to ensure successful project execution.
You Will Bring
10+ years’ experience in property development, with proven capability delivering complex, large-scale residential and/or mixed-use projects.
Deep understanding of the full development lifecycle—from acquisition and feasibility through to construction and handover.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
A collaborative mindset, with an ability to influence, inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams.
