The role will be focused on ensuring a safely run site for all by ensuring all safety measures, compliance, risk and sustainability is maintained and adhered to. This role will report into the NSW General Manager and Head of Safety.
Current projects include; Student Accommodation, BTR, Co-Living and Retirement living.
You will have responsibility for the following
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Site inductions for all workers
- Weekly Risk Forecast report
- Implementation of new systems
- Identify training opportunities
- Weekly reporting
- Adherence to all safety related regulations
- Weekly site visits
- Weekly / monthly audits
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS, or a Diploma in WHS, or Cert IV WHS with relevant experience, or a trade background.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively to large groups of workers.
- Documentation management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of workplace safety legislation.
- Familiarity with construction-related industrial relations.
- Exceptional understanding of construction processes, including precast concrete panel manufacture and erection, electrical installations, mobile plant, and fixed plant.
- Previous safety auditing experience
