Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Formulate and execute business strategy for VIC/SA, aligning with national objectives and growth plans.
- Business Development: Win new work, expand key accounts, and drive fee proposals and project wins across structural and multidisciplinary sectors.
- Project Delivery: Act as Project Director for major projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction from inception to completion.
- Operational Management: Oversee business unit performance, resource management, invoicing, and risk management.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and develop staff; recruit top industry talent; foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with national discipline directors, business unit leaders, and corporate functions (HR, Marketing, Finance, HSEQ, IT) to ensure seamless operations and project delivery.
- Financial Accountability: Full P&L responsibility for the VIC/SA region, driving commercial outcomes and process improvement.

Skills & Experience Required
- Extensive experience (15+ years) in structural engineering or core services, with proven success in consulting and project delivery.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to win work, build client relationships, and drive business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Deep knowledge of the built environment and/or civil infrastructure sectors in VIC/SA.
- Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering (required); postgraduate qualifications and chartered status highly regarded.
- Strong commercial acumen, problem-solving ability, and commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
