- Working 2 days from Parramatta, and 3 days working from home
- Temp contract commencing ASAP until end May 2026, with a possible further extension
- Paying between $80 to $90 per hour + super
- Working 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
- Career progression is available, with a possible future career path into an Acquisition Manager role
The Role
As the Acquisition Analyst, you will work alongside and support various Acquisition Managers & the Senior Acquisition Manager with the following tasks:
- Creating and maintaining acquisition progress sheets using Excel – tracking budgets, timelines, market movements of current sales data and land rates, whilst ensuring that any data or formula errors are corrected
- Monitoring the progress of acquisition tasks, raising awareness to any emerging risks or delays
- Participate in negotiation preparation and meetings
- Preparing briefing notes
- Document management & document control processes
- Support with weekly reporting
About You
- MUST have advanced proficiency in creating and managing complex Excel worksheets
- MUST have experience tracking/monitoring outcomes
- MUST have demonstrated experience managing competing priorities and deadlines, working within a fast-paced team environment
- MUST have proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Beneficial – having worked within a government entity
- Beneficial – exposure to using GIS or spatial databases
- Beneficial - understanding of property valuation
- Beneficial - understanding of the Land Acquisition (Just Terms Compensation) Act 1991
- Beneficial - tertiary qualifications in business, property, project management or similar field
- Beneficial - Core Practitioner Certificate with the NSW Centre for Property Acquisition
- Beneficial - Membership with the Australian Property Institute (API) or similar
