The Client
This developer is one of the most highly regarded developers in the country with a national development capability across multiple sectors. Their development schemes range from masterplanned communities in metro areas of major cities, shopping centres in key regional areas, industrial estates and urban regeneration projects of the mixed use variety.
The Role
As Project Manager you will assist with the provision of specialist project management expertise in the delivery of residential land development projects across QLD. You will actively contribute to the development outcome, promote best practice design, project and program management across civil infrastructure, sports & rec, utility services, landscape and urban design disciplines.
Some of your duties will include:
• Supporting the development team in creating and monitoring project plans against time, cost and quality dimensions.
• Draft design and construction briefs, select and engage external suppliers, contractors and consultant teams.
• Ensure project(s) are scoped, designed, built and delivered on time, to budget and at the agreed quality standard.
• Actively build and manage relationships with internal and external key stakeholder groups (i.e. contractors, consultants, Development Managers, approval authorities, communities) to achieve required business outcomes and in a manner that enhances the image and reputation of the business.
You
The right candidate will have a strong and proven background in civil engineering, either working for a similar developer, contractor or consultancy. You must be a self-starter and be able to handle internal stakeholders as well as external contractors.
Land sub-division exposure is essential.
