The Project Manager will manage:
- the delivery phase for the refurbishment/reconstruction of two Artesian water hot pools at the Moree Artesian Aquatic Centre (MAAC). This includes the engagement, onboarding and management of contractors, plus liaison with Public Works.
- the procurement and delivery phase for the construction of a basketball pad to be located within an evacuation centre.
Background Info:
The tender to complete the below works closes shortly, where the contractor/s will then be engaged.
- The active pool has had the majority of the structural alterations completed, with the new concrete island benches, walls, gutters and stairs constructed. No finishes have been applied to the concrete surface and the hydraulic pipework remains disconnected. Requires some general remediation of the concrete shell, water reticulation pipework and jets, otherwise the works can continue with minimal re-work.
- The passive pool has been demolished with the proposed new walls, benching and ramp to be constructed from in-situ concrete with a separate concrete pavement concourse around the pool.
Criteria:
- Must be an experienced Project Manager having managed the delivery of public infrastructure projects and contractors.
- Must be able to stay in Moree, Monday to Friday
- Exposure to swimming pools - beneficial.
