Capstone Technology are proud to be partnering with the Chief Information Officer of a renowned institution as they seek to appoint a key member of their program delivery function. As Program Director and Platform Owner, you will hold overarching accountability for the successful delivery of all workstreams related to the Enterprise Platform and the ongoing maintenance of the platform.
Please note this is a Fixed-Term Contract initially, with the scope for extension/permanency as required, and requires 2-days per week on site in the Illawarra region of NSW.
Key Accountabilities:
As Program Director and Platform Owner, you hold direct accountability over the following areas:
- Program Planning & Management : Develop project plants, manage finances, risks, and dependencies, oversee scheduling & performance, and continually report program status.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management : You are the main point of communication for all Platform related initiatives, responsible for managing communication between IT teams, Executives, and Vendors.
- People Management & Resource Allocation : Create, deploy, and maintain an optimal program resource strategy and ensure the development of high performing teams. This will require ongoing capability, financial, and skillset management to ensure resources are fully utilised.
- Governance & Risk Management : Establish governance structures across the platform and the business, aligning assurance and risk management processes and ensuring these are documented & maintained.
- Communication : You are responsible for negotiation, conflict resolution, influencing outcomes, and overall delivery of project communications.
- Financial Management : Forecast and manage program budgets, report on program financials in line with the EPMO requirements, and manage contracts with vendors.
- Platform Ownership : Develop the platform roadmap and strategy, overseeing all capabilities, and remaining up to date with technology changes to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
Key Requirements:
- Significant experience in successfully delivering complex, end-to-end, Enterprise App/Platform programs requiring extensive digital and business transformation.
- A background in enterprise technology, with a particular emphasis placed on the ServiceNow platform.
- Proven ability to work closely with executive, business, IT, and vendor stakeholders, influencing outcomes and ensuring customer satisfaction through the successful delivery of the program.
- Demonstrable skillset across risk management, project financial management, project planning, dependency management, contract management, and technical leadership.
