About the Role
Working for an enviable and iconic property developer as an Operations Manager, you'll take charge of the operational performance, compliance, and contractor coordination across several logistics sites. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure the properties run safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
This short-term opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and has a proactive approach to property operations, maintenance, and risk management.
The role will split its time between the CBD based head office, and heading out to site, with most assets based in the west.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across logistics properties in Melbourne
- Ensure compliance with WHS, building codes, and environmental standards
- Manage contractors, maintenance schedules, and essential services
- Coordinate risk registers, site inspections, and compliance certifications
- Monitor and contribute to operational budgets and monthly reporting
- Drive a safety-first culture across all managed assets
- 3+ years experience in operations or facilities management, ideally in logistics or industrial properties
- Trade qualifications (electrical or mechanical) desirable
- Solid understanding of Australian Standards, WHS legislation, and building compliance
- Proven experience managing service providers and maintaining high performance standards
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Intermediate Microsoft Office and property system proficiency
- Valid driver's licence essential
