As the organisation enters its next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced executive to join the leadership team as Group General Manager – Villages, reporting directly to the CEO.

The Opportunity
This key executive role provides strategic leadership across Village Operations, Sales & Marketing, and Facilities Management for Oak Tree’s 34 retirement communities. You will be instrumental in shaping and executing the village strategy, overseeing everything from asset planning and reinstatements to customer experience and commercial performance, all while ensuring operational excellence and high-quality resident care .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of strategy across operations, sales & marketing, and asset management
- Inspire and manage cross-functional teams across multiple sites
- Drive occupancy and revenue through effective sales leadership and data-informed decision-making
- Oversee capital works planning, unit reinstatements, WHS, and facilities management
- Ensure commercial and financial targets are achieved while enhancing the resident experience
- Contribute to executive decision-making and support organisational growth initiatives
- Provide regular updates to the Board on operational performance, strategic initiatives, and key business outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
You are a proven executive leader with a background in multi-site operations, ideally within senior living, healthcare, BTR, or other B2C property environments. You’ll bring a balance of strategic thinking, operational rigour, and commercial acumen, along with the ability to lead diverse teams with empathy and accountability.
You will have:
- Extensive senior leadership experience in institutional-grade real estate or service-oriented sectors
- Strong people leadership capability and experience leading national teams
- Proven success managing operations, sales, and portfolio performance
- Experience with capital planning, WHS compliance, and resident or customer-centred service delivery
- A relevant degree in business, property, or a related discipline
