A truly diverse community with a myriad of hidden treasures, the Strathfield local government area makes for a truly special place to live, work and play. To achieve this growth Council is engaging in a number of progressive urban renewal and strategic planning initiatives. The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director Planning & Environment will be responsible for providing leadership and development of the directorates which includes the Planning & Place and Resilience and Compliance & Commercial teams.

In the context of anticipated and planned future population growth, the Director will have responsibility for developing a narrative that will support purposeful change that benefits the entirety of the Local Government Area (LGA).
