This is a busy, varied role where no two days look the same. From managing the front desk to supporting office operations and helping with team events, you’ll be a go-to person across the business. You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming guests and managing all front desk duties including phones, couriers and mail
- Setting up desks and access for new starters
- Raising maintenance requests and coordinating services like coffee machine repairs and cleaners
- Keeping meeting rooms and shared areas tidy and stocked
- Helping organise internal team events and social activities
- Pitching in with admin and ad hoc tasks as they come up
Our client is after someone with 2 years’ experience in a reception, admin or people-facing role—someone who’s confident, friendly and enjoys creating a great experience for others. You’ll be juggling a few things at once, so being organised and calm under pressure is key.
- Previous experience in a similar front-of-house or admin role
- A warm, approachable manner and great communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and handling multiple priorities
- Experience working in a corporate or professional services setting
- Any exposure to facilities, event coordination or onboarding new starters
