We are seeking an Acquisitions Manager to play a pivotal role in the identification, assessment, and acquisition of first-class industrial assets for a highly capitalised and experienced investor developer client.
This role will suit a motivated and commercially minded professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about creating value through property investment and development.
Our client is on a growth trajectory, established by a seasoned team with both significant experience and private equity behind them.
You will report into the CIO and will:
- Identify and secure opportunities by assisting in the execution of small asset, institutional investment, and development strategies.
- Conduct feasibility and due diligence, including financial modelling, rent analysis, and revenue/expense forecasting.
- Prepare Investment Committee reports and contribute to investor reporting, presentations, and portfolio analytics.
- Liaise with agents and site finders, building a strong industry network to source and secure opportunities.
- Research and analyse markets, maintaining a robust library of data on planning, construction costs, rents, competitor activity, and land sales across target cities.
- Contribute to business planning and capital management, including budgeting and debt procurement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Leasing and Asset Management, to ensure assumptions align with tenant and market conditions.
- Drive process improvement and seek value-add opportunities across the business.
- At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in acquisitions, property development, or investment.
- Strong knowledge of development and acquisition processes, ideally with some client-side exposure.
- Demonstrated financial modelling and analysis skills (Excel proficiency essential).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Exposure to the full lifecycle of industrial investment and development.
