We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager / Program Manager to lead a major HRIS / HCMS transformation program. The role will be accountable for delivering a new enterprise HR system – Workday or Dayforce – as well as overseeing the migration of Kronos on-prem to Kronos Cloud. Experience with UKG would be a distinct advantage.
This is a high-profile program requiring an individual with confidence, strength of character, and the ability to engage credibly with senior executives. The successful candidate will bring authority in delivery, exceptional planning capability, and strong stakeholder engagement skills, ensuring the program achieves its strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday or Dayforce, managing complex integrations across HR, Payroll, and Workforce Management systems.
- Oversee the Kronos migration from on-prem to cloud, ensuring operational continuity and optimised outcomes.
- Develop and execute comprehensive program plans, schedules, budgets, and risk/issue registers to a high standard.
- Engage with C-suite executives, HR leaders, and business sponsors with confidence, influencing decision-making and providing authoritative recommendations.
- Establish and maintain strong vendor partnerships, ensuring system integrators and technology providers deliver to scope, time, and budget.
- Demonstrate gravitas and credibility in governance forums, steering committees, and executive updates.
- Drive organisational readiness and partner with Change Management to ensure adoption and business outcomes are achieved.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and provide strategic solutions and re-planning scenarios to maintain delivery momentum.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams to deliver outcomes with quality and pace.
- Proven success delivering enterprise HRIS/HCMS programs(Workday or Dayforce) within complex corporate environments.
- Strong background in Kronos implementations and on-prem to cloud migrations.
- UKG experience will be a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional planning, organisation, and governance skills.
- Ability to engage, influence, and communicate with gravitas across all levels, from project teams to C-suite executives.
- Confidence to speak with authority in complex program discussions, steering committees, and stakeholder engagements.
- Strong vendor management expertise and experience managing multiple vendors in parallel.
- Familiarity with project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Prior experience delivering in large enterprise, complex, or regulated industries (e.g., Energy, Utilities, Financial Services, Healthcare).
