Our client is a high profile ASX listed Real Asset Fund Manager that invest in, develop and manage high quality Australian Real Estate & Infrastructure assets through a variety of listed and unlisted funds.
The Role
The Senior Finance Manager will lead a high performing team that is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of accounting records, management and statutory reports, and tax compliance for the Group’s Operation’s Trust and its subsidies, which forms a part of the ASX listed entity.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Your duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
- Delivery of timely and accurate monthly consolidated results and accompanying analysis.
- Delivery of half year and annual statutory financial statements, including proactively managing the audit process.
- Liaise with the wider Group Finance team to understand technical accounting papers in relation to transactions to support practice commercial outcomes.
- Tax compliance, including income tax calculations, tax forecasts and GST returns
- Security based payments and working with the P&C team on the remuneration report.
- Proactive involvement in other projects, ad-hoc analysis and transactions as required.
- CA/CPA qualification
- Strong technical accounting and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of complex legal entity structures and Australian Tax & Accounting standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent team leadership, management, and coaching skills.
- Real Estate/Infrastructure Funds & Investment knowledge highly regarded,
