Due to significant growth over the last six months, they is now an immediate requirement for an experienced Estimator to Senior Estimator (Cost planner) to join the team in Macquarie Park.
This role will see you taking responsibility for managing and delivering tenders on large scale data center and industrial projects throughout Australia. Reporting in to the Pre-Construction Director and working alongside all senior stakeholders, this is an exciting opportunity to join a global contractor.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the tender process from initial appraisal to submission.
- Review and analyze tender documentation across Civil, Structural, Architectural, and Building Services disciplines.
- Prepare analytical cost estimates, budgets, and detailed bills of quantities.
- Complete tender documentation and ensure timely submission.
- Oversee the smooth handover of successful tenders to the delivery team.
- 10+ years’ experience in estimating role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale, complex tenders.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as CostX, Cubit, or Buildsoft.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, processes, and bills of quantities
