Skills Required
 
Technical Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in building services engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of Australian building codes, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Ability to prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
 
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in a dynamic project environment.
  • Leadership skills, with experience mentoring or guiding junior staff.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
 
Responsibilities
  • Project Management:  Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of building services projects, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:  Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Technical Oversight:  Provide expert input into the design, documentation, and implementation of building services systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, etc.), ensuring compliance with Australian standards and codes.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:  Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all deliverables meet required specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement:  Identify opportunities for process enhancements and drive best practices in project delivery and technical solutions.
