Our client is a National Residential land, townhouse and apartments Developer with a proven track record delivering award-winning communities throughout Queensland. Whilst they are a large National group, they operate with an entrepreneurial mindset, removing red-tape to ensure decisions are made fast to capitalise on acquisitions opportunities.
The Role
Due to growth they are looking a highly experienced Acquisitions Manager to source on-market and off-market sites for projects from large scale masterplanned communities through to infill apartments sites. They have a healthy balance sheet and active capital partners giving them multiple ways to structure deals and move swiftly in this competitive market. Responsibilities include:
- Source off-market residential land and built-form sites
- Source and assess property acquisition opportunities in line with Acquisitions Brief.
- Targeting and negotiation of acquisition opportunities direct with land owners.
- Deal structuring and assist with the preparation of joint venture and tender submissions
- Carry out financial modelling for new acquisitions
- Provide or procure as appropriate market and competitor research as required
To be successful in this role you will be well networked within agents and land owners and thrive on chasing down a deal. The company is in an excellent financial position to capitalise on the market, both in possible land acquisitions or purchasing smaller business' to bolster the pipeline.
To be considered for this role, you will have a track record in acquisitions of land or built-form Residential sites, be confident with feasibilities, structuring deals and partnering agreements and possess a down-to-earth persona in this nimble Brisbane team.
