Our client is a growing Melbourne based developer with $1B in current assets across Commercial, Retail, Land, Residential and Mixed-use assets. Holding the predominance of their developments, they have a blended in-house and external Property Management model with external Facilities Managers. Their close-knit team of professionals strive to deliver excellence across the property life cycle.

Property Operation Manager
This leadership role is a perfect blend of Strategic and Tactical management, deploying Facilities Management and Property Management Services, and creating fit-for-purpose alignment for each asset. You will spend the initial 12 months creating and implementing strategic plans for each asset including identifying CAPEX and asset repositioning opportunities. You will draw together knowledge of leasing, facilities management, procurement, contract management, finance and project management to lead the Operations department for the business. You will manage
  • an internal property management team
  • external facilities and property providers inc. leasing agents
  • identification of synergies across the portfolio
This role will see you working closely with internal and external stakeholders to constantly improve the delivery of services and efficiencies as well as increase revenue opportunities.

Suitable Person
Our client is looking for an outcome and delivery focussed professional to match their business approach and culture. Their success has come from an intelligent and nimble approach, whilst always looking to improve. You will have a commercial mind and “roll up your sleeves” approach. You will be an experienced commercial property operator, able to demonstrate strategic insights into commercial property and facilities management across a portfolio of assets. Gaining efficiencies, minimising risk and improving the bottom line will be a focus of your approach.
